STEVENS POINT, WI – Stevens Point Mayor Mike Wiza and Aspirus Business Health invite you to stroll along on a “Fact or Fiction Walk” Wednesday, October 5.
The “Fact or Fiction Walk” will feature a brief demonstration of proper walking posture and techniques by Travis Adams, Certified Athletic Trainer with Aspirus Business Health. Mayor Wiza will then lead participants on a 0.4-mile walk, sharing interesting stories about sites along the route. Walkers will have some fun guessing which of Mayor Wiza’s stories are fact and which are fiction.
The walk will begin at 11 a.m. at Stevens Point City Hall, 1515 Strongs Avenue. It will end at the downtown square at about noon. Everyone is invited, and no reservations are needed. Walkers are welcome to pack a lunch to enjoy at the walk’s conclusion.
